Bedford Athletic Boosters

A special note of thanks to the Bedford Friends of Recreation for partnering with the Booster Club in hosting the fundraising event that took place on March 29th. Over 300 people attended and it was a huge success! In addition, the BFOR also donated $2500 to the Rich Beyer Memorial Athletic Scholarship. Thanks also go out to all the members of the booster club that helped plan the event, put items together for the auction and also sold tickets to the event. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

The next meeting of the Bulldogs Booster Club will take place at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 14th at the high school library. Bedford Bulldogs Booster Club

The Winter Sports Award Night will be held on Tuesday, March 4th at 6 pm starting at the Commons where pizza, salad, cake and beverages will be served. It will move from the Commons to the auditorium where an overview of the winter sports season will be held. Afterwards, individual teams will move to their respective rooms for individual player awards. The Booster Club is looking for volunteers to assist before, during and after the dinner portion of the evening. We will need people to set-up, serve food and clean up.

On March 29th, the Bedford Friends of Recreation will be holding their annual Spring Fund Raiser at CR Sparks, and proceeds from the evening will be going to the Booster Club. This is a huge event, and will be a major fund raiser for the Booster Club. The cost is $50 per person. A social hour starts at 6 pm, followed by dinner and dancing. A live/silent auction will also be held that evening, so bring your checkbook! Also, if you are interested in donating an item for auction, please contact Paul Woodmansee at 591-8495.
