| Build sessions are scheduled events that take place almost daily after school for Team 509. During these times, usually scheduled from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, team members and adult advisors work together to design, construct, and test the robot that will be used by the team during competitions. In addition, activities such as button making and website design often coincide with the building of the robot, to allow students to experience a broad variety of the requirements of a succesful FIRST team.
On weekends, build sessions run from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM or later, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved! |
