| Stand By Me - Frequently Asked Questions |

"Our Mission is to provide teenagers and their parents with the opportunity and skills for improvement of understanding and communication, thereby building or enhancing trust and self-esteem. In doing so, we will be helping parents and teenagers deal more effectively with the issues and concerns faced by today's families. We believe that we accomplish this mission by offering a wide variety of interactive workshops administered by leading New England psychologists, educators and other professionals."
How is Stand By Me funded?
Unlike other “project outreach” type programs, Stand By Me is fully funded by parents and the Bedford community. This year we have established a $30,000 fundraising goal to meet the budget needs of this event.
When and where does Stand By Me happen?
Stand by Me 2010 will be held on Friday, June 4th from 8:45 – 2:15 at Southern New Hampshire University.
Who can attend Stand By Me?
All Ross A. Lurgio seventh graders and their parents or guardians are invited to attend.
How can I get involved?
We need as much help as we can get in order to make this program a success. We welcome all volunteers – whether you have a 7th grade student or not. If you are interested, please contact Lori Ashooh at lashooh@comcast.net. Thank you!
