| Using Lego construction pieces and the Robolab software for robotic programming, teams construct robots to compete against each other and other schools. Each team has a specific challenge to complete using only robots on the playing field. It is considered a competitive sporting event, however, the players are the robots. Robots are rated for accuracy, speed, and points scored during the competition. Winners of the "Main Event" are based on total team performance in various categories over the course of the 10 week session. Lego league will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays. All students, male and female, are encouraged to join. |
